Save the Date! June 14-16, 2017 teachers are invited to Bozeman Montana for an Economics Seminar. See this email for information.
Montana Council on Economic Education hosts a variety of opportunities throughout the year including workshops, conferences and seminars. The events are held throughout the state so that MCEE can reach as many educators as possible. In the next few weeks we'll be communicating a teacher training for June in Bozeman.
Most of the workshops held by MCEE focus on lesson plans on various economic topics for the teacher to take back to their classroom. Teachers can earn re-certification credits for attending MCEE's events, and at EDCI 588 there is an option to earn one credit or 16 hours towards re-certification. Nearly all events are provided at no or minimal cost to those attending. Many sessions are taught by faculty from the Department of Agriculture Economics/Economics at Montana State University Bozeman and other instructors, including MCEE board members.
