Llew Jones was raised on the family sheep, cattle and grain operation south of Conrad Montana. After graduating from Montana State University with a B.S. in Agricultural Business and an M.S. in Economics, Llew became active in production agriculture, subsequently becoming the proprietor of a number of businesses.
He was elected to the Montana Legislature in 2005, and currently serves as a State Senator. During his tenure in the Senate, Llew has served as a member of the leadership teams of both the House and Senate. His primary focus has been in Appropriations with a special emphasis on K-12 and Higher Education.
